About the Role (Job Summary)

McKesson is seeking a Kinaxis Maestro Supply Chain Planning Solutions Engineer to support the configuration, enhancement, and optimisation of Kinaxis Maestro (formerly RapidResponse) solutions that enable effective supply chain planning and decision-making.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, supply chain teams, and technical partners to deliver scalable planning solutions across demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimisation, and network planning processes. You will help translate business requirements into system configurations, support integrations and data management activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning capabilities across the organisation.

This role is ideal for a hands-on Kinaxis professional who enjoys solving business challenges through technology and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Configure, maintain, and enhance Kinaxis Maestro solutions to support supply chain planning processes.
  • Build and modify workbooks, worksheets, crosstabs, dashboards, profile variables, expressions, and business rules.
  • Support Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimisation, Network Planning, DRP, MPS, and Capacity Planning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective system configurations and solution designs.
  • Support data integration activities, including data mapping, validation, scheduled data loads, and troubleshooting data quality issues.
  • Perform system testing, validate enhancements, and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve application issues through root cause analysis and ongoing monitoring.
  • Support platform performance optimisation and maintain system reliability.
  • Partner with technical teams to support integrations and ensure data accuracy across connected systems.
  • Document solution designs, configurations, and support processes.
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance to less experienced team members while contributing to team best practices and continuous improvement efforts.

Basic Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience implementing, configuring, or supporting enterprise planning solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Kinaxis Maestro (RapidResponse) configuration and solution support.
  • Experience configuring Kinaxis workbooks, worksheets, crosstabs, expressions, profile variables, and business rules.
  • Experience supporting one or more of the following supply chain disciplines:
    • Demand Planning
    • Supply Planning
    • Inventory Optimisation
    • Network Planning
    • Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP)
    • Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
  • Experience with data integration, data mapping, validation, and scheduled data updates.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system configurations.
  • Experience working within Agile or iterative delivery environments.

Preferred Skills / Experience

  • Kinaxis Author Certification (Level 1 and/or Level 2).
  • Experience implementing Kinaxis Maestro or RapidResponse solutions in a large enterprise environment.
  • Experience with statistical forecasting and demand sensing capabilities.
  • Knowledge of inventory optimisation methodologies, safety stock planning, and replenishment strategies.
  • Experience supporting ETL processes and enterprise data integration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with APIs and system-to-system integrations.
  • Experience supporting supply chain transformation or digital planning initiatives.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environments.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring junior team members.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle concepts, automation practices, and testing methodologies.
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Travel / Work Arrangement / Physical Requirements

  • Hybrid work arrangement based on team and business needs.
  • Limited travel may be required for workshops, stakeholder meetings, or project activities.
  • Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods and participate in virtual meetings and collaborative sessions.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.  In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.

€57,800 - €96,300
