Job Description

The Opportunity

Adobe's mission is 'Creativity for All' — and few segments are more strategic to that mission than Direct to Student! Our Direct to Student offers for Creative Cloud All Apps are the gateway to the next generation of Adobe's users, introducing students to the full power of Creative Cloud at a pivotal moment in their creative journey and building the foundation for lifelong relationships with Adobe. We're seeking a Finance Lead to provide Financial and Business Partner support for this exciting business. You'll drive cross-functional engagement, influence key decisions, and shape FP&A processes through analysis and modeling that guide senior management and steer strategy.

What you'll Do

  • Own scenario analysis for the Direct to Student business, bringing financial rigor to monetization and student-to-professional conversion strategies.

  • Advise on business strategy, opportunity sizing, pricing, and promotional cadence — including back-to-school and seasonal cycles — to hit ambitious growth targets!

  • Build and refine LTV models across the full student lifecycle, from acquisition through post-graduation conversion to full-price Creative Cloud.

  • Partner with IT, Finance Systems, and Finance counterparts to enhance reporting for the Direct to Student channel, including eligibility verification economics and cohort performance.

  • Be a trusted business partner across functions — surfacing risks and opportunities, and defining the metrics that matter.

  • Own quarter-end financial reporting, delivering the insights and the "Why" behind performance.

What you need to succeed

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

  • 8+ years of relevant finance experience. Previous experience in crafting financial models for a subscription/SaaS business is a plus. Management consulting or investment banking is a plus.

  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, and experience in SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, Hadoop, and/or Databricks is preferred. Focus on building scalable analytics and reporting.

  • Self-starter who can handle sophisticated tasks with minimal direction and develop new strategies and ways of approaching business challenges.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and drive decision-making across cross-functional teams.

  • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills, including the ability to handle several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Problem solver who can challenge the status quo and implement new ways of thinking across the organization.
