Research Associate III

POSITION SUMMARY:  Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI) or designee, the Research Associate provides operational support to the laboratory. The Research Associate will perform research experiments as defined by the PI.   The Galván Peña lab studies how the microbiota-metabolite-immune system crosstalk in the intestines impacts the rest of the organism. We use photoconvertible mouse models combined with flow cytometry, sequencing and metabolomics techniques to understand the molecular details of gut-to-systems communications.
