Housekeeper
Job Description
Our Housekeeping position provides a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for senior age residents, staff, and visitors.
Located at Jones Harrison Senior Living in Minneapolis near a residential neighborhood and cedar Lake. Part of Ebenezer, Minnesota's largest senior living operator, whom has been providing excellent service for seniors for over 107 years.
This cleaning services schedule includes;
- Casual / On Call
- Pick up and work a Minimum requirement of 3 shifts per month. Days or Evenings
Responsibilities
- Performs housekeeping duties:
- Vacuums
- Changes water bucket or mop head as trained
- Uses wet floor signs
- Maintains housekeeping cart and closet
- Replenishes supplies – soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Cleans tile/walls, windows, and glass doors
- Ensures chemicals are locked up
- Cleans public areas, resident rooms, and restrooms:
- Cleans drinking fountains with disinfectant
- Replenishes supplies – soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Vacuums carpets
- Empties and washes waste baskets with disinfectant when needed
- Assists with emergency spills as needed
- Maintains clean linen carts
- Wears gloves at all times
- Assists with grounds cleanup when requested
- Performs other duties as assigned. This may include but is not limited to:
- Room changes
- Cleaning wheel chairs
- Assisting with special events
