Under close supervision, this position provides administrative and operational assistance for benefits programs by processing documentation, maintaining records, and assisting in day-to-day activities. This role facilitates accurate and timely handling of benefits data, filings, and documentation across internal and external systems while upholding confidentiality standards. The incumbent supports benefits events and program initiatives, executes routine processes, and escalates complex issues to promote consistent and compliant service delivery.Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with benefits-related processing from initial filings to application of programs; monitor notices, verify information exchanges with vendors, reconcile documentation discrepancies, and manage records across internal and external systems
- Support day-to-day benefits administration activities by preparing, distributing, and tracking forms, enrollments, and required documentation for programs
- Maintain and update benefits data and records within systems and filing structures, ensuring timely entry, consistency, and proper documentation retention
- Provide administrative support for benefits operations and events, including assembling materials, managing correspondence, and coordinating documentation needs for initiatives such as open enrollment and wellness programs
- Escalate complex situations to senior team members for guidance and resolution
- Meet acceptable standards of service center metrics, such as unavailable time, resolution and processing accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain a high level of data integrity and protection of personally identifiable information (PII) in systems
- Perform additional administrative duties as the need arises
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED with up to 1 year of experience in contact center, customer service, human resources, or related field, and/or military equivalent
AND/OR Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences:
- Experience using computers and phones in a professional/office setting, including Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to act professionally, maintaining composure and confidentiality
- Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas through various mediums
- Ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations to provide excellent service
- Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy
- Ability to capture and document relevant business information in an auditable, organized, and easily retrievable manner
- Ability to protect sensitive data to ensure privacy during the process of storage and communication

Compensation:
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
