The Global EHSS team is seeking a dynamic, organized and driven Sr EHSS Specialist to support the commercial and global business services facilities in the EMEA region.  

Reporting to the Regional EHSS Leader, you will provide support in enabling a high-performance and positive Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHSS) culture.  You will provide technical expertise across all functions to ensure a compliant and safe workplace for all employees, visitors, and contractors.  You will work closely with the Global EHSS team, to ensure alignment to global programs, best practice and implementation at the onsite level. 

Where you come in:

  • You will improve EHSS workplace performance by promoting a positive safety culture and implementing EHSS processes in accordance with regulations, global programs and standards.
  • You will identify and evaluate hazardous conditions, practices, conduct, and coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe working practices.
  • You will assist in the development of controlled documents, training programs to drive engagement and a zero-harm culture.  
  • You will lead the ergonomic program, performing ergonomic assessments, delivering training, awareness and engagement initiatives.  
  • You will provide site leadership with guidance to ensure compliance with local regulations, global programs and standards.
  • You will provide EHSS expertise and support site safety officers with regional and site-specific programs.
  • You will collaborate with sites and the implementation of the site's zero-waste emergency response plans.
  • You will support site sustainability programs in collaboration with facilities & global sustainability teams to drive the site's zero-waste program.
  • You will review, investigate and implement action plans for work-related injuries, illness, accidents and safety concerns.
  • You will maintain thorough knowledge of EHSS regulations and fire safety standards.
  • You will coordinate and participate in H&S committees, attend meetings related to employee safety, providing expertise on safety risk management, statistics and trends.
  • You will perform other related duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this position.

What makes you successful:

  • You are familiar with European health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • You have demonstrable success in administering EHSS programs.  
  • You have experience in implementing and maintaining EHS programs in a multi-site environment in the medical device or similar industry.
  • You are able to work effectively and efficiently under pressure.
  • Accredited certification strongly preferred (Certified Professional Ergonomist, Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist). 
  • You have strong project management skills in facilitating projects/activities.

Travel Required:

  • 5-15%

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience.

Flex Workplace:

  • Your primary location will be an office based in Vilnius. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site.

Monthly base salary for this position is from €3,258.33 to €4,025.00 gross. Final offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
