About the Role

The Privacy Reforms Program is an enterprise-wide three-year program that has been established in response to Privacy risks and regulations continuously evolving. In Australia, the recent reforms passed last year introduced new obligations coupled with heightened penalties. It is pivotal that we remain proactive in our approach to ensure we meet these new obligations and increasing community expectations.

The Privacy Management Application (PMA) Lead is a crucial position within the Privacy Reforms program, responsible for delivering the Privacy Management Application (PMA) and streamlining Privacy Risk processes while integrating them with existing frameworks. In this role, you will lead a small team to deliver the Privacy Management Application design and delivery. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Privacy Office team to simplify and automate the current Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) processes.

Role Location: Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane
Work Hours: Full-Time

What will your day look like?

• Leading the development and implementation of the Privacy Management Application (PMA), ensuring it meets the needs of staff and customers
• Be the critical representative for Business input by working closely with Technology partners, vendors, and other divisions to deliver a seamless and effective PMA capability.
• Simplify and streamline privacy management processes through the PMA, enhancing efficiency and oversight.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation and training materials for the PMA.
• Reporting progress and updates to the Senior Leaders, ensuring alignment with program goals.
• Leading and supporting a small team to drive quality outcomes.
• To comply with future privacy reforms as they become available

What will you bring?

• Proven experience (10+) in project management and application development, preferably in privacy or compliance-related projects. 
• Experience delivering an enterprise-wide application
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstratable ability to simplify complex processes, think outside box and drive efficiency.
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience leading a team and driving outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
• Ready to dive in and work hands-on with enthusiasm and energy as a vital member of a dynamic, fast-paced team.
• Understanding of privacy best practices and existing processes.
• Prior experience with Service Now highly desirable
• Relevant tertiary qualification desirable
