The job
AVEVA is seeking an Oracle Master Data Management Associate to join the Finance Systems team, reporting to the Finance Master Data Management Team Lead.
The role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the global Master Data Management team, ensuring accurate, consistent, and governed master data within Oracle and DAX to support business operations, reporting, compliance requirements, and digital transformation initiatives.
The position will provide flexible tactical support for short-term operational priorities, including data cleansing, backlog reduction, and system migration activities.
The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining data integrity, supporting governance frameworks, improving data quality, and ensuring the effective execution of master data processes across global operations.
This role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to support both operational activities and project-based initiatives within a dynamic, global environment.
Key responsibilities
Support the creation and maintenance of Customer, Supplier, and Employee master data within Oracle during peak periods and critical business activities.
Deliver short-term operational support for priority initiatives, including data cleansing, backlog management, and system migration activities.
Execute assigned tasks to support business continuity and ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
Support the resolution of workload peaks, process bottlenecks, and transitional operational activities.
Work under the direction of the Finance Master Data Management Team Lead to ensure alignment with business priorities, governance requirements, and operational objectives.
Maintain high standards of data quality, accuracy, and compliance with established governance frameworks and operational procedures.
Contribute to achieving project milestones and operational objectives while supporting efficient resource utilization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact operational performance or delivery outcomes.
Collaborate effectively with regional and global teams to support a consistent and standardized approach to master data management across the organization.
Essential requirements
Experience with Oracle ERP and Master Data Management processes, including Customer, Supplier, and Employee master data maintenance.
Experience supporting data cleansing, system migrations, bulk uploads, and operational backlog management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills with the ability to maintain high levels of data accuracy and integrity.
Ability to manage competing priorities, work effectively during peak periods, and collaborate with global stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Korean and/or Japanese, with the ability to communicate effectively with regional stakeholders and support business operations across APAC markets.
Ability to read, write, and manage business communications, documentation, and system-related requests in Korean and/or Japanese would be an added advantage.
Experience supporting multilingual stakeholders in a shared services or global operations environment is preferred.
Strong cross-cultural communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across regional and global teams.
Desired skills
Good understanding of data governance principles, compliance requirements, and operational controls.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across different business functions and regions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools would be advantageous.
A proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support evolving business needs and transformation initiatives.
