YOU WILL BE:
As the Manager, Events for Bergdorf Goodman, you will support the experiential strategy that elevates our luxury positioning. You will lead the full event lifecycle—from creative conceptualization through operational execution—blending trend-forward innovation with rigorous data-driven analysis, budget, and vendor management to deliver high-impact experiences. By collaborating cross-functionally across business and brand partners, you will ensure every activation and touchpoint consistently reinforces the Bergdorf Goodman brand identity and deepens client engagement.
YOU WILL DO:
Manage the end-to-end event lifecycle from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and business goals.
Lead experiential innovation by leveraging industry and lifestyle trends to develop high-impact event concepts that elevate the BG brand.
Manage event production budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships to ensure flawless execution and return on investment.
Oversee and provide on-site coordination for in-store events and activations, serving as the primary liaison for internal partners and external vendors.
Analyze event performance metrics and post-event reporting to inform future strategy and continuously raise the standard of execution.
Cultivate and manage strategic brand relationships and talent, ensuring all activations meet high-touch luxury standards.
Work cross-functionally with Visual, Store, and Private Client Relations teams to ensure event and experiential strategies are seamlessly integrated across all client touchpoints, maintaining consistency in execution and brand presentation.
Work closely with the PR team to develop press materials, executive briefing documents, and event messaging that consistently reinforce brand identity
YOU WILL BRING:
Bachelor's Degree with 5-7 years of event related experience
In-Office/In-Person attendance 3-4 days per week or as needed dependent on events
A change agent who is flexible, resilient, and able to thrive in a rapid paced environment
Creative with a strategic and process driven mindset
Strong relationship building and influence skills with internal and external partners
Budget management skills
Key attributes: Resourceful, intuitive, strong communication, reliable, self motivated
Strong sense of urgency and an ability to problem solve are also critical
Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Google Suite
Positive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
Ability to adapt to change and make last-minute revisions based on business needs and direction, while remaining calm under pressure
