Job Summary:

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am to 3:30pm
Oversees daily industrial laundry operations, production needs, and equipment functionality, to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient performance. Manages staff, monitors workflows, and supports regulatory compliance across a high-volume healthcare laundry plant and medical surgical distribution center. Partners with leadership to implement operational improvements, control costs, and maintain service and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
Oversee Laundry Operations and Linen Management
Direct and supervise all daily laundry operations, ensuring proper linen control, distribution, repair, replacement, quality standards, cleanliness, and continuous workflow efficiency.
Ensure Regulatory Compliance, Safety, and Quality Standards
Ensure laundry operations comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations; maintain a safe work environment by identifying, correcting, or reporting hazards; and uphold infection control and safety standards.
Manage Staff Performance, Training, and Supervision
Hire, train, orient, and supervise laundry staff; develop and conduct training programs; conduct performance evaluations and improvement sessions; and ensure compliance with organizational policies, conduct, and attendance standards.
Optimize Productivity, Equipment, and Operational Efficiency
Monitor productivity standards, inspect equipment during operation, coordinate maintenance and repairs, implement process improvements, and ensure adequate supplies of clean linen to meet operational demands.

Job Requirements
Education
Post‑secondary education in management, business, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and supervisory experience.
Experience
3-5 years supervisory experience in a production environment preferred.
Experience monitoring productivity metrics (PPOH, throughput, rewash rates) and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency.
License/Certifications
N/A
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Ability to understand, read, speak and write English.
Proven leadership experience in high‑volume, labor‑intensive environments.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong knowledge of industrial laundry operations, workflows, and production standards
Proven ability to supervise, train, and develop staff in a production environment
Understanding of linen control, inventory management, and quality assurance processes
Commitment to maintaining cleanliness, quality, and service standards
Ability to monitor productivity metrics and identify process improvements
Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to operational issues
Basic proficiency with production tracking systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
Ability to follow policies, procedures, and budgetary guidelines
