Latchkey Coordinator (Part-Time)

Location: Norwood Elementary – West Jefferson, OH
Organization: Madison-Champaign Educational Service Center (ESC)

Position Overview:
Madison-Champaign ESC is seeking a dependable and organized Latchkey Coordinator to lead the Norwood Elementary Latchkey Program. This position plays a key role in creating a safe, structured, and engaging environment for students before and/or after school while overseeing daily program operations.

This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling (morning and/or afternoon hours), ranging from 20–40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the latchkey program
• Supervise and evaluate staff
• Participate in hiring and onboarding of program staff
• Manage program purchasing and supplies
• Ensure compliance with daycare licensing rules and regulations
• Maintain a safe, positive, and structured environment for students

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred
• Valid ODE license/permit (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a childcare or daycare setting
• Knowledge of daycare licensing rules preferred
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting

Additional Information:

• Start Date: August 3, 2026
• Schedule: 20–40 hours per week (AM and/or PM shifts available)
• Some summer hours are required for training
• Salary: Commensurate with experience, per approved salary schedule
