Position Summary
The Offset Press Operator is a critical member of the production team, responsible for safely operating offset printing equipment to manufacture high-quality labels that meet customer specifications. This role requires strong technical knowledge of press operations, a commitment to quality, and a focus on efficiency and waste reduction.

Shift Differential: $1.50 for Nights

Key Responsibilities
Follow all plant and corporate safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Immediately report safety concerns or incidents to supervision.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through daily housekeeping.
Perform press make-ready according to job tickets and product specifications, ensuring correct plates, inks, substrates, tooling, and press settings.
Operate offset printing press equipment to meet customer specifications while optimizing quality, efficiency, and waste reduction.
Conduct all required press-side quality checks, including color, copy, registration, ink adhesion, and visual inspection.
Maintain consistent print quality throughout production runs.
Complete all documentation, procedures, and quality measurements required under BRC and internal quality standards.
Perform routine press maintenance, including cleaning plates, cylinders, ink systems, and lubricating equipment as required.
Accurately and timely enter material usage, downtime, and production data into the GlobeTek system.
Support continuous improvement efforts related to safety, quality, and productivity.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year of printing press operator experience or technical training; offset printing experience strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret job tickets and quality specifications.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and arm motions.
Frequent walking; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.
