Registration Coordinator – Surgical Patients

Using excellent customer service skills and exercising thorough knowledge of hospital policies and procedures as they relate to registration, coverage, payment and scheduling; completes the preadmission account for all surgical cases.   Monitors and ensures that all functions are completed in an accurate, efficient and timely manner; works with physician’s offices on level of care discrepancies; accountable for meeting department standards for completion of QA on a day-to-day basis by making sure everything checks out on the registration checklist.  Follow-up calls to third-party payers for status to confirm coverage.
Salary Range:
$18.65-  $24.70 an hour

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
