Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will:
Implement individualized treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist and physician
Assist residents in improving functional abilities and independence with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation, including daily notes and progress reports
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team regarding resident progress, goals, and discharge planning
Educate residents, caregivers, and family members on therapeutic techniques and safety strategies
Train restorative aides and provide support to nursing staff as needed
Foster positive relationships with residents and families while advocating for their rehabilitation goals

Qualifications
Current and active California Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license
Strong commitment to patient-centered care
