About the project
ACCIONA delivers complex civil infrastructure, rail, water and geotechnical projects across Victoria. From major tunnels and stations to transport and water upgrades, our teams help reshape how communities move, live and work. Based in our South Melbourne corporate office, this role supports key bids and live projects across the state. You will work closely with project, commercial and engineering leaders to shape competitive, high quality tenders.
About the opportunity
We are seeking a highly capable Senior Bid Coordinator to lead the development of high-quality, client-focused tender submissions. This role is critical in shaping winning bids—translating strategy and win themes into clear, compelling narratives and visually engaging content that strengthen ACCIONA’s competitive position.
You will collaborate closely with technical, commercial, and delivery teams to coordinate submissions, manage timelines, and ensure excellence from bid strategy through to submission.
What are the key accountabilities for the position?
- Lead the end-to-end coordination and delivery of complex tender submissions, ensuring deadlines are consistently met
- Translate win themes and bid strategy into clear, compelling, client-focused messaging across all submission content
- Write, edit, and refine high-quality bid content, ensuring consistency, clarity, and professionalism throughout
- Present key information effectively using a mix of written content, visuals, and infographics to enhance impact
- Coordinate inputs from technical, commercial, and delivery teams to produce cohesive and competitive submissions
- Manage bid governance, documentation, and approval processes to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Support stakeholder engagement, bid workshops, and risk/opportunity development to strengthen overall bid positioning
Required Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Communications, or related field
- Proven experience coordinating bids/tenders in infrastructure, construction, or engineering
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling capability
- Ability to distil complex technical information into clear, client-friendly messaging
- Strong document design and visual communication skills (infographics, layouts, etc.)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Understanding of bid governance, approvals, and commercial fundamentals
