Position Summary:
- Join our Ladies and Gentlemen in the Banquet Kitchen, where you will oversee the preparation and production of hot and cold dishes for hotel events and functions.
- Support Kitchen management in delivering top-quality, consistent food across all banquet offerings.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and team members, ensuring efficient and precise food preparation.
- Plan and manage food quantities, plating, and presentation for each event, with a keen focus on detail and accuracy.
- Keep your section organised and running smoothly during every service period, maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.
- Strive to exceed guest expectations by understanding their needs and delivering excellence in every dish.
- Assist your team with preparation and execution during service, upholding the highest standards of food safety and property guidelines.
About You:
- Full Time Availability
- Working rights in Australia
- Trade Industry Qualification or completion of Commercial Cookery Qualification
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Enthusiastic to escalate your career
- Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment
