About the role
The Migration Governance Lead will lead a team of Business Analysts around company processes and necessary knowledge needed to complete projects or analyses. The role requires an understanding of business needs, and opportunities that present themselves to the business, including a good understanding of business risk and ability to communicate appropriate feasibility studies to a reporting manager.
The role will play a critical part in enabling successful delivery outcomes by defining business problems, identifying requirements, assessing impacts, and supporting design and delivery across the program. The role acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical specialists to ensure solutions meet business needs and are fit for purpose.
This is a 24 month secondment/maximum-term opportunity, based in Melbourne.
What You'll Be Doing
- Execute Migration Governance Strategy as it has been defined.
- Document Migration Governance/ Watchtower terms of reference and socialise it for review and approval.
- Engage with Migration impacted teams to determine optimal Migration Event Plan.
- Document Migration Event plan options and impacts across the workstreams including Training Logistics, Agent Recruitment, Commercial Impact, Metrics/ Data available each week after a migration occurs (eg. How many bills will we have in Week 1 post migration, Week 2 for us to make the go/ no go decision, what does that mean for the Agents who are currently in training etc.).
- Determine Key Metrics to be monitored prior to, during and after migration events to inform the go/ no go decisions. This will be done by engaging with senior stakeholders in RT and BAU.
- Validate if the data required for these metrics are captured within EDP or platform reporting, if there are gaps document requirements and plan for the development and testing of these reports, this should line up with the Dress Rehearsal schedule to enable testing using real data.
- Document potential action plans to mitigate issues or KPI slippage during migrations and determine the level of approval required for each. This will involve senior stakeholder engagement and approval.
- Document the proceed framework getting input from other stakeholders on the program like Retained Apps, Training, Migration and Platform teams.
- Support in KPI and POD metric validation and determine what will be available in release 3 and future releases.
- Should there be a need for additional resources to support the execution of
- Migration Governance manage these resources in alignment with AGL values.
What You'll Bring
Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, or related discipline, or equivalent hands-on
experience.
• Experience working as a Business or Technical Analyst in large transformation
programs, ideally using both agile and waterfall methodologiesData and Data Governance experience
Change management and comms experience preferred.
Proficient in managing senior stakeholders’ expectations and communication.
Proficient in Tools: High level of competency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Competency in agile related tools such as Jira and Confluence.
