Job Description

  

Job Summary:
Performs functions associated with service calibration and repair operations for the service depot repair department.  Person will handle customer calibrations, repairs and warranty service for flow and vacuum products. Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.  Prepare service report to include information provided by customer, as found conditions, methods/steps used to correct and final calibration data.


Detailed Descrption:

  • Perform electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and calibration on vacuum and flow equipment.  This includes reading and interpreting schematics and mechanical drawings, inspecting, testing, and cleaning all finished instruments prior to shipment.
  •  Responsible for achieving department goals as they relate to quality and productivity measurements.
  • Interact with multiple departments to include Engineering, Production Teams, Quality, and Sales to relay problems and offer possible solutions.


Requirements:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Associates degree in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent vocational or technical training with at least 1-2 years’ experience is preferred. 

  • Candidate must be able to use communication software and equipment to include email, Microsoft Teams, ERP system and Microsoft office.  (especially Word & Excel)
  • Familiarity with electrical and mechanical schematics, drawings or assemblies a plus
  • Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100 is a plus
  • Candidate must be able to work independently with little supervision

Physical Demands:

  • Sitting/standing for long periods.
  • Good coordination and flexibility in both hands.
  • Use of computer keyboard.
  • Good vision capabilities, including color perception.
  • Position requires operation of specific equipment and the sensory ability (vision, hearing, and smell) to detect and report unsafe conditions to prevent injury to oneself and others.
  • Move and occasionally lift up to 50lbs.

Candidate must possess U.S. citizenship or be a "U.S. Person". (A U.S. Person is defined as a person who is a lawful permanent resident “Green Card holder” as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101 (a)(20) or who is a ”Protected Individual” as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Annual Salary $45-55k; Teledyne Benefits, 401k, etc.
