Job Description
The UCSF Center for Tuberculosis, housed under UCSF’s Institute for Global Health Sciences, was established in 2019, hosts 45+ affiliated and multidisciplinary faculty across the University and is the operational hub of the NIH-funded UCSF-UC Berkeley Tuberculosis Research Advancement Center (UC TRAC) and the UCSF award under the U.S. Department of State-funded SMART4TB Consortium. Through the UCSF Center for Tuberculosis affiliation, faculty investigators enjoy a cooperative and creative academic environment with collegial, administrative, and logistical support, providing a singular and unified scientific home for the TB research enterprise at UCSF. The UCSF Center for Tuberculosis coordinates training, mentorship, pilot awards, and other investment activities for early-stage investigators and serves as a catalyst and community for investigators of all stages in TB research to incubate interdisciplinary collaborations and novel discoveries.
