Clifton Hills Elementary is an Expeditionary Learning K-5 school located in Chattanooga, TN. We have a positive school climate and culture for our faculty and students, where we consider ourselves a family and do whatever it takes to ensure that our students are successful.
We are a previous turnaround school that has made drastic improvements within the past few years. Some accomplishments of Clifton Hills include being recognized as a state of Tennessee Level 5 school and a Model Demonstration School for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), Expeditionary Learning Credentialed School, as well as exiting the state's priority list.

Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards
- Design engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Collaborate regularly with colleagues and support staff
- Build strong, respectful relationships with students and families
- Create a well-managed, structured classroom environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development and reflection

- Experience in Title I or high-need school settings is a plus
- Passion for supporting the whole child academically and socially
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Valid Tennessee teaching license in Elementary Education (K-5) OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program
Compensation & Additional Info:
- Salary Scale based on education and experience – starting at $50,000.00
- Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan
