POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for performing technical processing procedures related to autologous and allogeneic peripheral blood stem cells, bone marrow, and therapeutic cellular therapy products. This position will prepare products for transplantation and participate in patient bedside infusion and perform laboratory operations with strict adherence to applicable regulations and standards.
Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENT FACTORS
Job requires standing and sitting for prolonged periods, frequently walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion. Ability to lift/push/pull 20-50lbs. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, radiation, blood/body fluids, biological hazards, and infectious disease.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology, OR
Bachelor’s degree in chemical or biological (transcripts may be reviewed to determine eligibility) AND certification (MLS or categorical)
One (1) year of related experience in cellular processing, aseptic technique, and/or cryopreservation methods.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with autologous and allogeneic stem cell processing.
AABB Cellular Therapies Certification.
Additional related education and/or experience.
