Job Description

As a Business Analytics Specialist at Startek Malaysia, you will play a pivotal role in driving datadriven
decision making for the company. This full-time position is based in Ara Damansara,
Selangor, and will involve leveraging your expertise in business analysis and data analytics to
uncover valuable insights and support strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • To translate large data to meaningful reports.
  • To work with various cross functional teams to gather data and convert it to dashboards/
    productivity reports.
  • To prepare regular reports with accuracy.
  • Meet deadlines for all reports and dashboards.
  • To provide data in various formats excel, word and power point.
  • To maintain good typing speed and accuracy when working with numbers.
  • Proactively close data gaps if any in the process.
  • To identify opportunity areas in MIS, Attendance, Profitability along with alternate
    solutions.

Key Requirements: 

  • Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a business analytics or data analysis role. 
  • Preferably someone with P&L exposure.
  • Proficient in data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve complex
    business challenges.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey insights to
    stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different departments. 
  • Familiarity with the information and communication technology industry is an advantage
