Infant Program Supervisor (formerly Nursery Center Supervisor)

SUMMARY Provide and maintain a healthy, nurturing and safe environment in which to care for children of teenage parents attending High School, ages 6 weeks through 35 months old.  Model parenting and life skills to young parents through continued education and communication. First Steps Nursery is a childcare serving students, staff, and community members who are in need of high quality infant and toddler care. First Steps Nursery is located at the Early Childhood Center at Stansberry. The hours for this position are 7:45am. to 4:15pm.

Starting rate of pay is $16.38 per hour plus benefits. Range 8 ($16.38 - $22.47) - Classified Salary Schedule

Under Federal Head Start requirements COVID-19 vaccinations are mandatory for staff as of January 31, 2022. Staff must provide proof of vaccination or request a medical or religious exemption from Human Resources. Staff who receive an exemption will be required to participate in weekly testing beginning February 2, 2022.
