Overview
Our client is seeking a junior/mid-level, technical candidate willing to transition into this product Owner position. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and technology, partnering closely with engineering teams, architects, and business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver solutions that create measurable business value.
The ideal candidate combines strong Product Owner or Product Management experience with a solid technical foundation, particularly around APIs, Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), and software delivery practices. This individual will own product backlogs, drive requirements definition, and help guide teams through the full software development lifecycle.
Experience within highly regulated environments such as banking, financial services, healthcare, or insurance is highly desirable.
Location: Cincinnati, OH (Downtown)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid/Onsite

Top Skills
Technical background preferred (Application Developer, Software Engineer, Technical Analyst, etc.)

Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Strategy
Analyze business challenges and market opportunities, translating them into actionable product initiatives.
Learn to Define product vision, roadmap, and feature priorities.
Prioritize product backlog based on customer value, business impact, and ROI.
Technical Collaboration
Partner closely with architects and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Support initiatives involving APIs, integrations, and Event-Driven Architectures.
Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Help bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
