Graveyard Cashier & Barista
Job Description
The Graveyard Cashier & Barista is responsible for creating a positive guest experience by greeting guests, completing their beverage or food orders and efficient cash handling.
Duties:
Sincerely greet and thank each guest.
Inform guests of hours/days of operation, all coupons and specials.
Take guests’ orders efficiently, answering questions and offering suggestions.
Make various simple food items such as sandwiches.
Create various coffee beverages, smoothies, and teas.
Accurate use of the POS system to close checks using a variety of payment methods.
Balance a bank with a high level of accuracy.
Complete all side work requirements.
Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe and comfortable environment for our guests and team members.
Qualifications:
Minimum of one year experience as a cashier or barista is preferred.
Able to operate espresso machine, panini press, microwave, and toaster.
Able to stand and walk continuously for 8 hrs. shift and repeatedly lift 15 lbs to chest.
Must be available to work any day of the week on graveyard shift including Holidays.
Must possess excellent customer service, communication and teamwork skills.
Must be able to speak and understand English.
