Job Overview:

As a Junior Creative, you focus on executing basic, template-based design tasks under the guidance of senior team members. In this foundational role, you work within a limited scope to develop your technical skills, learning the essentials of design while adhering to pre-established templates. You actively contribute by applying feedback, refining your understanding of core design principles, and supporting the team in day-to-day tasks.

* THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE THAT REQUIRES A PRESENCE IN THE OFFICE 2 DAYS PER WEEK. THERE IS NO OPTION TO BE FULLY REMOTE.*

We are hiring for the afternoon shift, from 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM.

Expectations 

  • Brand 

  • Begin developing an understanding of the brand’s core values, visual identity, and guidelines, ensuring all creative work aligns with these standards. 

  • Support in the execution of design tasks that adhere to the brand’s style, ensuring consistency across all outputs. 

  • Process 

  • Learn and follow established processes to ensure consistency and accuracy in creative work. 

  • Begin applying foundational problem-solving techniques to address simple design challenges, under the guidance of senior team members. 

  • Project Management 

  • Receive tasks directly from senior creatives or project managers and ensure timely delivery with attention to detail. 

  • Begin developing time management skills by working closely with team members to set priorities and understand project timelines. 

  • Production 

  • Follow style guides and templates closely to ensure that all production work meets the required standards. 

  • Begin developing an understanding of the production process, from initial concept to final output. 

  • Creative Competency 

  • Learn to apply established design concepts to projects, with supervision, while developing a deeper understanding of project objectives. 

  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, learning to incorporate feedback and refine your work. 

  • Innovation & Adaptability 

  • Begin exploring new tools and techniques to enhance personal creativity. 

  • Show flexibility when adapting to changing project requirements and briefs. 

  • Communication 

  • Practice effective communication skills by participating in discussions and presenting work during team meetings. 

  • Learn to clarify ideas and ask questions when needed to ensure alignment with project objectives.

  • Begin exploring AI tools that assist in basic tasks such as image generation, ideation, and asset creation. 

  • AI Learn how AI tools can be integrated into the design process to enhance creativity and productivity, under the guidance of senior creatives. 

 

Required Skills 

  • Foundational Technical Skills: Proficient in basic tools and techniques relevant to their discipline, with the ability to work effectively within templates and established brand guidelines. 

  • Understanding of Brand Standards: Basic understanding of the brand's visual and narrative identity, ensuring outputs align with guidelines. 

  • Collaboration and Learning: Strong willingness to learn from senior team members and work collaboratively on assigned tasks. 

  • Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy and quality in execution, with a focus on meeting deadlines and project requirements. 

  • Adaptability and Growth: Demonstrates eagerness to take on new challenges and build technical and creative skills over time.
