Design Engineer (f/m/d)

We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will rapidly prototype new user experiences and products, iterating quickly to turn ideas into testable concepts and compelling stories. You will enhance design definitions and establish motion guidelines, prioritizing beauty, performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and usability. You will work closely with designers and engineers, collaboratively focusing on the end-user’s needs and experiences, and find innovative ways to foster the dialogue between design and engineering.

• Rapidly prototype new user experiences and products.
• Iterate quickly to turn ideas into testable concepts and compelling stories.
• Enhance design definitions and establish motion guidelines, prioritizing beauty, performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and usability.
• Work closely with designers and engineers, collaboratively focusing on the end-user’s needs and experiences.
• Find innovative ways to foster the dialogue between design and engineering.

You will play a major role in setting the standards of design engineering at OH–SO as we are just building this practice. In shaping the practice, it will help if you:

• Have experience working in a similar role in an agency or consultancy environment.
• Can explain design engineering, your stance on it, and the way forward at OH–SO with compelling arguments.
• Enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, from designers to developers, as well as directly with clients
