Our Food and Drink Runner/Busser Role
We’re looking for a reliable team player to join our fabulous, supportive team in our busy and independent pub.
- No experience is needed.
- Do you love to chat to people and get to know what makes them tick?
- A great attitude and a passion for hospitality are the critical ingredients - we can train the rest
- Teamwork, commitment to delighting our guests and reliability are the other key ingredients.
The main focus of the Runner/Busser working hours will be on the weekends: -
Fridays, Saturday, and Sundays.
What would be expected of me?
· Clearing and resetting tables when needed.
· Running food and drinks to guests in a professional and friendly way.
· Communicating effectively with both front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
· Refilling water glasses and assisting with drink orders as needed.
· Assisting with basic bar preparation tasks such as helping to stock up fridges and back bars, filling up ice wells and cutting fruit for service.
· Upholding high standards of cleanliness throughout the pub.

The Bull in Wanstead, is a beautiful, listed building and a former bank. The Bull has a rich history and has been a huge part of the local community since its inception as a pub ten year ago.
A pub full of character, it boasts a first floor private room alongside an epic garden. It has been at the centre of many events, celebrations and Summer parties over the years.
The Bull is located on Wanstead High Street, 100 yards from Wanstead Tube Station, so also offers a great commute and it prides itself on being a real community pub.
The Bull is part of Livelyhood Venues, an established London based owner, creator, and operator of inviting and independent neighbourhood businesses.
