About Beaulieu Vineyard: Established in 1900, Beaulieu Vineyard is one of the most historic Napa Valley wineries, setting the standard for quality and innovation in Napa Valley winemaking. Today, Beaulieu Vineyard continues to be innovative, utilizing the latest technology in combination with time-honored traditions to produce exceptional Napa Valley Cabernets. As we celebrate our 126th year, 2026 is shaping up to be our best year yet. We are building a completely new hospitality center, scheduled to open July 2026.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Lead Tasting Room Associate (Wine Educator Lead) to bring our wines and story to life through engaging tastings and immersive moments. Together, these leaders will serve as ambassadors of the tasting room driving sales, hosting elevated experiences, and leading daily operations as shift supervisors in partnership with the Assistant Hospitality Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first impression for all guests, delivering a warm, concierge-led welcome and engaging confidently in conversation
Host and support wine tastings, tours, and floor experiences while stepping in as needed
Lead daily floor operations, including team breaks, coverage, and shift flow
Coach and support team members to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional guest experiences
Drive sales through POS transactions, wine club promotion, and order fulfillment
Support events, private experiences, and onsite activations
Maintain merchandising, inventory, and overall tasting room presentation
Uphold service standards, policies, and complete additional projects as needed
About You:
Minimum of 2 years’ wine sales, restaurant and/or hospitality service experience
Self-motivated, highly organized, and require minimal day-to-day direction
You can effectively communicate in English with all levels of employees and consumers, written and spoken, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
You are able to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays
You have a strong knowledge of Napa Valley area, food and wine market is preferred
You have a basic understanding of winemaking
You must be able to travel on occasion to other Company locations
You must be able to lift 40 pounds
You must be at least 21 years of age
You have a clean professional appearance

Pay Transparency Disclosure:
Base pay: Hourly rate ranges from $26.92 to $29.81 per hour, based on experience, skills, role scope, location, and business needs.
Incentive pay: Eligible to participate in the Direct-to-Consumer Sales Incentive Plan (DSIP), offering variable compensation based on site performance. Incentive pay is not guaranteed.
Estimated on-target earnings: $29.61 to $32.79 per hour, based on base pay plus target DSIP at target performance (where applicable). Actual earnings vary based on site performance, hours worked, and role classification.
Tips: Tips are paid by customers and vary by location, shift, and customer volume. Tips are not guaranteed. Based on historical experience in some locations/shifts, tips have at times added approximately 21% above base pay for some employees.
