School-Based Mental Health Clinician (LCSW, LPC, LMSW, MSW)
Hamilton County Schools | Chattanooga, TN

Thrive Therapies Group is seeking compassionate mental health clinicians to provide direct support to K-12 students in Hamilton County Schools. This is an opportunity to practice meaningful, relationship-centered care in a school setting while enjoying a predictable schedule, comprehensive benefits, and strong clinical support.
Position Highlights
• Full-time W-2 employment
• Immediate start available
• Monday-Friday school-day schedule
• No evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities
• School-based setting serving K-12 students
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $43,000-$60,000 annually
Benefits begin on Day One:
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• 401(k) with company match
• 10 days PTO plus paid sick leave
• $1,200 annual CEU stipend
• Professional licensure reimbursement
• Malpractice insurance provided
• $2,000 signing bonus after 90 days
• $1,000 retention bonus each semester

What You'll Do
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual and small-group counseling services
• Utilize evidence-based practices including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed interventions
• Conduct crisis assessments and safety planning
• Collaborate with school teams and caregivers
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Participate in student support and intervention planning
Qualifications
Required:
• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Mental Health, or related field
• Active Tennessee licensure or eligibility for Tennessee licensure:
- LCSW
- LPC
- LMSW
- MSW
- Related clinical licenses considered
• Knowledge of child and adolescent development
• Ability to pass required background screening
Preferred:
• School-based mental health experience
• Clinical experience with children and adolescents
• Training in trauma-informed care, TF-CBT, DBT, or related modalities
• Crisis intervention experience
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
