Material Handler

  Position: Material Handler Location: Bethel, PA Shift: 7AM-7PM; Thursday-Saturday, Every Other Wednesday     Material Handler Job Summary In the position of Material Handler, you will maintain distribution of materials between the production floor and inventory; loading and unloading; staging finished product in designated inventory location and maintain general housekeeping.   Material Handler Responsibilities You will safely drive a forklift to stage material, load trucks, unload trucks and transfer   material within the plant and within departments as needed. You will keep safety at the forefront of team’s thinking and approach to work. You will assist to maintain a safe, well organized, FIFO (first in, first out) controlled warehouse per Pregis Best Practice. You will maintain inventory by identifying and placing materials and supplies in stock and record location of inventory. You will prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, and securing product in correct location.   Knowledge To be successful in this position, you will need: The ability to take coaching well and communicate respectfully with others and promote a positive teamwork culture. Be knowledgeable of safety requirements and guidelines in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
