JOB TITLE: Senior Technical Product Manager
JOB LOCATION: 3400 W Plano Pkwy., Plano, TX 75075
DUTIES: Responsible for charting and executing the course for customer and employee digital experience across our consumer distribution channels. Lead the software product development lifecycle from inception to production launch and postproduction support. Extensive experience in the telecom industry, specifically within prepaid and postpaid activations, number management porting, and terms and conditions related product domains. Role requires a deep technical understanding of REST services, APIs, microservices, Java, J2EE, Spring, databases, Azure Cloud, Kafka, JSON, Visio, JIRA, Swagger, GitHub, ADO, PowerBI, Adobe Analytics and Gen AI. Expertise in working within SAFe Agile/scrum/kanban development team. Ability to work effectively with multi-location and multi-domain teams. Responsible for defining roadmaps, translating them into smaller deliverable chunks for scrum teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of functionality through RESTful API definitions. Responsible for the success of a product or group of products through development and execution of comprehensive marketing plan including new and emerging products, technologies and/or applications. Provide leadership to IT product teams to drive technical development and provide visibility of product status to Executive Leaders. Conduct multi-year product planning to determine product life-cycle decisions, ensure consistency with overall marketing and corporate strategy, and achieve product performance, revenue, market share/penetration, and profitability objectives. Develop strategic product plans to bring data from disparate billing systems and develop microservices for easy access to the data. Serve as a key liaison between Business and IT teams (Product, UI, Development, QA and Production Support) to facilitate product development. Complete functional and technical analysis for new features and technical projects. Understanding and leading complex system integrations with deep product &telecom domain knowledge. Possess expertise in REST services, APIs, and microservices architecture; utilizing the Java Spring framework for backend development and integration; and possessing strong database knowledge, including data mapping from DB to API, API to API, and API to UX fields. Write technical documentation: Architecture diagram & sequence diagrams. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform a variety of tasks to help delivering more value to our customers. Acts as team lead as needed to provide leadership to less experienced professionals.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in a related occupation defining roadmaps and translating to smaller chunks for scrum teams; REST services, APIs, and microservices architecture; utilizing the Java Spring framework for backend development and integration; data mapping from DB to API, API to API, and API to UX fields; Agile and SDLC processes; utilizing JIRA, Splunk, Adobe Analytics, and Confluence Wiki; architecture and design of systems using Micro services architecture; SAFe Agile/scrum/kanban development team; software development and web technologies; developing REST clients and services; leading complex system integrations with deep product & telecom domain knowledge; running applications in production; continuous integration and continuous delivery; container and cloud VM application deployment models; Technical Skills- Jira, REST services, APIs, microservices, Java, J2EE, Spring, databases, Azure Cloud, Kafka, JSON, Visio, JIRA, Swagger, Jenkins, GitHub, ADO, PowerBI, Adobe Analytics and Gen AI.
