School Librarian (2026-2027)

 

Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy seeks Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Librarian certified in Library Science, Elementary Education or Special Education for its lower school campus. Reading Specialist and/or ESL certification is desirable; 2+ years experience with children in a school setting is preferred. Familiarity with the Louisiana Student Standards, EOC Assessments, and LEAP Assessment is an asset. Interest in leading extracurricular student activities is a plus. Training and workshops in the summer may be required.  Position available summer 2026.
