Your duties
- Apple Systems Administration: Oversee setup, updates, and troubleshooting for Apple devices
- Windows Desktop and Server Administration: Manage installation, updates, and maintenance of Windows-based systems
- Microsoft Active Directory Administration: Ensure proper access controls and group management
- Microsoft Azure Administration: Oversee cloud services, including storage and virtual machines
- Windows File Server Management: Ensure accessibility, security, and organization of file servers
- Virtual Server Management: Oversee the deployment and maintenance of virtual server environments
- WiFi Network Support and Troubleshooting: Maintain secure, reliable wireless network access
- Printer System Setup and Administration: Handle configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of printing systems
- Phone System Management: Administer and support business telephony systems
- Google Workspace Administration: Manage user accounts, settings, and integrations in Google Workspace
- Licensing Management: Manage licensing for Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and other product suites as necessary
- Electronic Workflow System Management: Support and optimize digital workflow solutions
- IT Ticketing System Setup and Support: Implement and manage ticketing systems for issue tracking
- 3rd Level Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex IT issues
- Printer System Setup and Administration: Handle configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of printing systems
- Asset Tracking & Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT assets and inventory
- Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed IT documentation and procedures
- Project Management: Plan and execute IT projects to improve infrastructure and processes
- Training: Provide IT training to staff to enhance technical proficiency
- Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed IT documentation and procedures
- Support Team Liaison: Acts as point of contact for strategic technical solutions, processes and procedures related to the running and management of the IT Support Desk
Your profile
- A four-year degree in Information Technology or a related field of study is preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Strong experience in Apple systems and Windows desktop/server administration
- Proven expertise in managing Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments, including Active Directory and Azure
- Capability to effectively manage virtual servers, file servers, and WiFi network
- Experience with IT ticketing systems and electronic workflow management
- Proficiency in licensing and support for software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft products
- Excellent organizational skills for asset tracking, inventory management, and documentation
- Experience leading IT initiatives through project management, advanced troubleshooting abilities for 3rd level technical support
- Proficiency in printer and phone systems administration
- Ability to train staff and develop user education programs
- High level of customer service with the ability to communicate effectively in English with a diverse group of students and staff members
- Collaborative team player capable of addressing technical challenges while fostering positive interactions across all levels of the organization
