Job Description
- Coordinate the closing process for commercial real estate loans
- Interact with legal counsel, correspondents, borrowers, servicers, and other related parties
- Review All Third Party Real Estate Reports, Title and Required Insurance
Skills & Requirements
- Associate's degree - Business Accounting or Real Estate area of study preferred.
- Prior experience with a title company, law firm, commercial mortgage banking, banking or other related finance area in lieu of education requirement.
- 2-4 years of prior experience with a title company, law firm, commercial mortgage banking or the investment area of life insurance company or other related finance area preferred
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to assess each situation and make good decisions - strong analysis and interpretation skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Team player - ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Good negotiating skills
- Proficient in PC Windows-based software, including Microsoft Office applications (Email, Internet applications, Excel and Word); knowledge of SS&C’s PrecisionLM system a plus
- MBA commercial real estate closing courses preferred: Loan Closing and Loan Documentation, Inspections and Environmental Concerns
