Compensation: ₱19,000 - ₱22,000 / month
Description
Virtual Staffing Solutions is currently looking for Home Care Schedulers to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will play a vital part in coordinating care by developing and maintaining daily schedules for nursing, rehabilitation, and home health aide services. You will ensure that patients receive timely and appropriate care while supporting clinical staff with efficient scheduling and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and manages schedules for nursing, rehab, and HHA services in coordination with the Intake Nurse and team leads, ensuring timely and appropriate care delivery.
- Coordinates with supervisors to create care plans, schedules patient visits, and ensures accurate data entry for service and billing purposes.
- Responds to scheduling concerns and inquiries from staff, patients, and families, offering alternatives when needed and consulting with supervisors as appropriate.
- Reviews hospital census, prioritizes referrals based on staffing and patient needs, and arranges clinician visits as required.
- Maintains general knowledge of medical services, handles internal service requests, and ensures patient rights to care, privacy, and respect are upheld.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls
- Background in scheduling within a multidisciplinary medical setting, preferably in a BPO environment
- Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
- Excellent comprehension and communication skills
- Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating various systems and tools
