About the Role

As a Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children receiving ABA therapy services under the supervision of a BCBA. You will help implement treatment plans designed to improve communication, social skills, and independence.

Registered Behavior Technician (BT / RBT) Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home or community settings throughout Gloucester, VA

• Implement individualized treatment plans created by a BCBA

• Support skill development and behavior reduction programs

• Collect accurate data and complete detailed session notes

• Build positive, professional relationships with clients and families

• Follow ABA and behavioral health protocols consistently

Qualifications

• Experience as a Behavior Technician, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), ABA therapist, behavioral technician, or behavioral health technician preferred

• Interest in mental health technician or ABA therapy careers encouraged

• RBT training provided for eligible candidates

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required

• Strong communication skills, dependability, and attention to detail
