The Crane Agency, a leading Insurance Brokerage Agency, seeks an experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Marketer to join our team in Chesterfield. Position snapshot: As a key member of our Commercial Lines Marketing Department, you'll be responsible for marketing new and renewal business to insurance carriers, negotiating coverage and pricing, and securing the most competitive solutions for our clients. Working closely with brokers, account managers, and underwriters, your expertise will drive results across a diverse book of mid to large commercial accounts.
What we’re looking for: (Experience/Qualifications)
- 5+ years of commercial lines insurance experience, with a background in marketing or underwriting (Required)
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including GL, property, auto, and workers' compensation (Required)
- Active Producer's Property & Casualty Insurance License (Required)
- Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
- Professional designation such as CISR, CIC, or CPCU (Preferred)
- Experience with Applied Epic agency management system (Preferred)
- Established carrier relationships and experience with mid to large commercial accounts (Preferred)

What you’ll be doing:
- Market new and renewal commercial insurance accounts to multiple carriers, preparing and submitting complete underwriting submissions and managing deadlines throughout the process
- Analyze client exposures and coverage needs to identify appropriate markets, then negotiate pricing, terms and coverage with underwriters to secure the best solutions
- Compare quotes and coverage options to develop recommendations, including assisting with marketing strategies for complex or high-value accounts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and wholesalers, staying current on market trends, carrier appetites and coverage changes
- Collaborate with brokers and account managers to support sales, retention and client service efforts
