Job Description
Job Summary : SEACORP is seeking Software Engineers at all experience levels, including new and recent college graduates, to build mission-critical software for the U.S. Navy. Your code will go to sea. As a Software Engineer at SEACORP, you will help design, build, and test the software and data systems behind the Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS) program: the integrated combat system used across the U.S. Navy submarine fleet. You will join a multidisciplinary team of SEACORP and government engineers who develop the services that move, store, and deliver data for some of the most advanced platforms in the world. Job Responsibilities: Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions in languages such as Java, Python, and C++. Develop databases, middleware, APIs, and prototypes in support of Navy data systems. Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations. Participate in an Agile team, consisting of daily scrums, two-week sprints, quarterly program increments, demonstrations, and retrospectives. Use professional engineering tools, including Git, Linux, and the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, etc). Learn modern data, cloud, and AI-assisted development technologies on the job, with guidance from the team that runs them.
