Business Analyst/QA - Financial Markets

Join a leading international company delivering cutting-edge solutions to private banking and wealth management clients. We’re looking for a hands-on Business Analyst/QA to drive impactful projects within a Portfolio Management System environment.

Your Mission:

You’ll sit at the heart of the Front Office domain, working closely with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to shape and deliver high-quality solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Gather, challenge, and refine business needs from banking stakeholders
• Translate requirements into clear functional specs, user stories, and use cases
• Lead workshops and collaborate with international teams
• Support development teams by clarifying functional topics and validating solutions
• Execute and contribute to test strategies (functional, regression, etc.)
• Ensure smooth deployments and post-go-live validations
• Drive continuous improvement across processes and systems

Profile:

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst in banking IT environments
• Solid knowledge of wealth management, securities, and Forex
• Proven track record across the full project lifecycle
• Expertise in writing specifications, testing, and process modelling
• Hands-on with tools like SQL, Jira, Confluence
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, international environments
• Proficiency in English

(Hybrid work, with 2/3 days of work in the office in LISBON per week)
