Job Overview
We are currently hiring a Fabrication Technician in Ariton, AL for a hands-on manufacturing opportunity focused on the fabrication and assembly of metal bins and related products. This position is ideal for candidates with fabrication, welding, manufacturing, production, or mechanical experience who enjoy working with tools and building quality products.
This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble metal bins and components according to specifications
- Measure, cut, and prepare metal materials for production
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Read work instructions, blueprints, or production documents as needed
- Inspect completed products to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain production goals while following safety procedures
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Assist with additional production duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous fabrication, manufacturing, production, welding, or metal working experience preferred
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Experience reading measurements and using tape measures preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical work
- Must be dependable with strong attendance
