Job Description
Position: Country Strategic Carrier Management
Location: AIA East Gateway Building
Key Responsibilities: -
- Develop and execute country-level carrier and gateway management strategies to optimize network performance, service quality, and cost efficiency.
- Drive strategic initiatives including carrier development, technology integration, and sustainability programs to enhance network capabilities and long-term business growth.
- Manage strategic relationships with carriers and logistics partners, supporting negotiations, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive carrier allocation and shipment flow management to maximize operational efficiency and achieve country incentive and profitability targets.
- Oversee gateway and consolidation operations, ensuring effective linehaul planning, shipment flow optimization, and adherence to global and regional standards.
- Monitor and analyze carrier, gateway, and operational performance metrics, implementing corrective actions and improvement plans where necessary.
- Collaborate closely with regional, global, and cross-functional teams to align network strategies, operational processes, and customer requirements.
- Lead, coach, and develop the team while fostering a culture of safety, compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Key Qualifications & Requirements: -
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or carrier management, with proven expertise in carrier negotiations and relationship management.
- Strong knowledge of carrier management, gateway operations, cargo consolidation, customs regulations, and international trade compliance.
- Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams within a matrix organization, fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and change management capabilities, with the ability to translate business strategy into operational execution.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, regions, and external partners.
