This is a seasonal position and applicants are expected to be available to work beginning March 2026 through Mid-September 2026.
Responsibilities:
Ensure guests have an exemplary experience through warm welcomes, anticipatory service, and fond farewells.
Provide outstanding service to guests in a friendly and professional manner, following proper steps of service.
Maintain full familiarity with menus and beverage offerings, including wine service, and confidently upsell when possible.
Take food and beverage orders, process payments, and present accurate checks using the MICROS system.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the pool deck, restaurant area, and all service stations.
Restock towels, empty towel bins, and ensure pool areas are free of debris and trash.
Maintain and replenish the complimentary beverage station.
Ensure umbrellas, tables, salt and pepper shakers, sugar caddies, and other poolside amenities are clean and presentable.
Assist in seating guests, answering phones, and cross-training among other food and beverage outlets as needed.
Communicate and enforce pool rules with grace and kindness to ensure guest safety.
Report facility issues promptly to the Office Coordinator, immediate supervisor, or manager.
Follow safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions or work practices.
Attend department meetings and required company training sessions.
Assist in the orientation and training of new associates.
Perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
Qualifications:
Minimum age requirement of 18 years
High energy with a strong service mindset and a can-do attitude.
Conversational English-speaking abilities required.
Must have and maintain current Texas Food Handlers license and TABC certifications.
Must agree and adhere to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management, and co-workers.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Prior serving and cash-handling experience preferred.
MICROS experience preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions
