Senior System Engineer

The System Engineer and Firmware Specialist Laser Scanning contributes to build up expertise at ZEISS IQS China to develop metrology-grade handheld laser scanners. This role includes deep technical knowledge across electronics, embedded software and systems engineering.

• Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
• Solid knowledge of C, C++, and Python for developing and implementing software solutions
• Practical experience in low-level programming, especially controlling optical components, display control, and image processing on PC or embedded system platforms
• Experience working with embedded operating systems (e.g. LINUX)
• Knowledge of Linux shell scripting for process automation and system administration is an advantage
• Analytical and solution-oriented approach to challenges and an interest in developing innovative strategies to enhance system performance
• Experience in developing optical measurement devices
