Join Our Team as a Mental Health Support WorkerLocation: Lindsay House, Northampton
Role: Part-time (19 hours per week), Fixed-Term-Contract - Until January 2027
Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for an experienced and caring Mental Health Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Lindsay House – a CQC Registered home supporting individuals with severe and enduring mental health challenges.
Lindsay House is a 17 bed supported living service registered under CQC.Lindsay House provides support to individuals with a primary mental health diagnosis. We provide more than just accommodation – we offer support with daily living skills, personal care, finances, and rehabilitation, while encouraging engagement with the local community.
What you will do and achieve?
Providing one‑to‑one key‑worker support and building positive, professional relationships
Carrying out assessments and developing personalised support and safety plans
Encouraging people to manage their mental and physical wellbeing
Supporting individuals with daily living skills and accessing community services
Liaising with mental health agencies, professionals and community groups
Contributing to safeguarding and promoting a safe, supportive environment
Keeping accurate records, monitoring progress and sharing information with the team
Helping improve the service by offering feedback and supporting colleagues
What we’re looking for:
Experience supporting people with mental illness in a social care setting (paid or voluntary)
Great listening skills, empathy, patience, and kindness
Ability to work with digital systems (Microsoft applications, email, internet)
A commitment to our values and willingness to learn
