RN Clinical Admission Specialist - Transfer Coordination

Position eligible for remote work after in house orientation period.  Orientation will be located at the Carle Methodist location in Peoria, IL.  There will be in person meeting requirements at various times throughout the year. Must live within the Carle Health Regions.    Facilitates and coordinates all direct admissions, interhospital transfers as well as transfers in accordance with established processes and regulatory (TJC, CMS, EMTALA guidelines). Actively collaborates with providers, nursing, and case management/utilization management to ensure appropriate patient placement for optimal care provision.
