
Process Engineer (Plastics Processing)
Job Description
This position coordinates and optimizes production processes in a company, as well as analyzes them in terms of efficiency and productivity. Designs, operates and implements new processes, as well as improves existing industrial processes to increase their efficiency, reduce costs, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability. Researches and develops new equipment and maintains appropriate documentation, which stems from the need to comply with regulations and ensure compliance with both external and internal procedures. Finds effective alternatives to current solutions.
supervision of the plastics processing process using extrusion technology (granulate as a final product)
- striving to reduce production costs
- continuously striving to improve and coordinating production processes through LEAN projects
- conducting training for staff, especially operators, in the field of processes/changes in processes
- conducting tests to optimize the production process
- participating in the design of production processes
- collecting and analyzing production data (KPI)
- providing setting for production processes for operators
- analyzing technical documentation
- cooperation with process engineers from other EU plants, exchanging experiences and good practices – willingness to travel occasionally to our European locations
- supporting the complaint process (8D; Ishikawa; A3)
- close cooperation with the Maintenance department in the management of machinery and installations ensuring the functioning of the factory
- cooperation with the Safety, QC, and Technology departments
- other projects/duties assigned
higher technical education, preferably in a field related to the company's profile
experience in the industry (extrusion, injection molding, plastics)Fluent English
ability to work in a Windows environment, knowledge of SAP welcome
knowledge of management concepts such as Kaizen, Lean Management, TQM, Six Sigma
