Job Description
Lead and deliver engineering projects that improve site conditions or meet business needs. Manage projects end-to-end (plan, execute, monitor, close) using FEL governance, project management tools, and KHMS. Focus on large CAPEX projects (typically > USD 1M), including reporting and defining asset useful life.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage CAPEX projects (70%): scope, schedule, cost, milestones.
- Project reporting (10%): schedules, dashboards, and presentations for large projects/control systems.
- RFQs & purchasing coordination (10%): support sourcing and purchasing plans for execution.
- EHS & FSQ compliance (10%): ensure safety and food-quality requirements using BOS/KHMS.
Compliance (Quality / EHS)
Follow quality standards and KHMS/FSQ programs; follow site policies (e.g., QRMP/GOP, hygiene/cleaning). Report any incident/accident that could impact safety or product quality. (Measured via audits.)
KPIs
Financial: CAPEX delivery (spend & milestones), project OPEX, asset useful life / fixed-asset governance.
Non-financial: KHMS implementation, Safety KPIs, FSQ metrics; project metrics (e.g., OEE, Yield).
Key Stakeholders
Internal: EHS, Quality, Production, CI, Maintenance, Planning, Logistics, Procurement, Finance/Accounting, Legal, Global Engineering teams.
External: suppliers/contractors, security (as needed).
Requirements
- Degree: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Experience: 5+ years in food manufacturing sites
- Languages: English & Spanish
- Skills: advanced project management (FEL), stakeholder/change management, AutoCAD, MS Project, Microsoft 365, mechanical drawings/spare parts, problem solving, basic asset depreciation knowledge.
