Location: Hybrid (Remote & On-site Southampton, Allentown, Philadelphia Offices)

Position Summary: The Vice President of Retail & Business Banking is a senior leader at Quaint Oak Bank responsible for the strategic direction, performance, and day‑to‑day leadership of the Bank’s retail branch network and business banking activities. This role is responsible for overseeing the Bank’s office locations and serves as a key partner to the Vice President of Commercial Relationships to support the onboarding and ongoing servicing of business and commercial relationships while strengthening deposit growth and customer engagement.
 
This position plays a critical role in advancing Quaint Oak Bank’s mission as a community‑focused financial institution—balancing personalized service with operational excellence, regulatory rigor, and future‑focused innovation. The Vice President of Retail & Business Banking provides regular, transparent reporting to the C‑suite and serves as a trusted advisor on growth initiatives, operational enhancements, and customer‑driven strategies.
 
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a visible leader across the Bank, fostering collaboration across functions.
  • Champion a relationship-based banking culture focused on long-term customer relationships and community engagement.
  • Lead the overall retail and business banking strategy, aligning branch and business banking execution with the Bank’s strategic plan.
  • Provide senior leadership oversight for the three office locations, ensuring consistent customer experience, staffing effectiveness, and operational performance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop office managers and business banking staff to achieve both sales and service excellence and ensure the staff is appropriately trained and supported to perform their roles accurately and confidently.
  • Oversee retail and business banking operations, including onboarding, transaction processing, customer service standards, and documented procedures.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and operational readiness across retail and business banking functions, including BSA/AML, CIP, OFAC, Reg E, Reg CC, Reg DD, and related consumer protection requirements.
  • Partner with Compliance, Risk Management and Audit, and Operations to maintain strong controls and accountability.
  • Act as the enterprise leader for deposits, developing and executing a clear plan to drive primary banking relationship and core deposit growth through disciplined sales leadership, referral strategies, and relationship development across all segments.
  • Partner with the Vice President of Commercial Relationships to support business customers, deepen existing deposit relationships, maximize cross-sell opportunities, drive primary operating and exclusive account conversions, and ensure strong alignment between deposit and lending strategies.
  • Advance product, technology, and process enhancements that improve customer experience while balancing risk.
  • Provide clear, data-driven reporting and strategic recommendations to the C-suite.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in retail and business banking within a regulated financial institution.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with core banking systems in a financial institution environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing branch operations and leading multi‑location teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of banking regulations and frontline operational requirements.
  • Proven ability to drive deposit growth while maintaining a high‑touch, community‑bank customer experience.
  • Experience partnering with commercial lending or business banking teams.
  • Executive‑level communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership and Boards of Directors.
 
Salary: $135,000 - $150,000 /year; offer is commensurate with experience.
