Job Description

Join DayOne – Shaping the Future of Data Infrastructure

DayOne is a global leader in the development and operation of high-performance data centers. As one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry, we’ve built a robust presence across Asia and Europe — and we’re just getting started.

As we expand into new international markets, we’re looking for talented, driven individuals to join us on this exciting journey. This is more than a job — it’s an opportunity to be a key contributor to our dynamic team and help shape the future of global data infrastructure.

If you're passionate about innovation, technology, and growth, we invite you to be part of DayOne’s next chapter.

What You’ll Do

Resource Manager will have a crucial role in supporting and ensuring resource readiness for data center developments in Finland and potential other countries in the future, covering land, power, utilities, connectivity, and permitting. The role acts as a central coordination and ownership point alongside Business Development Manager, enabling projects to progress smoothly from early development through execution.

This is a strategic, stakeholder‑facing role that bridges development, engineering, finance, and external partners.  While technical exposure is important, this role is not a pure engineering position.

Your key responsibilities will include,

Resource & Project Enablement

  • Lead and coordinate resource development for data center projects, covering land, power, utilities, connectivity, and permitting
  • Support early-stage project planning by ensuring resource readiness aligns with development timelines, investment decisions, and business objectives
  • Maintain a strong understanding of current and pipeline projects, key development milestones, and long-term expansion plans, proactively identifying risks and dependencies

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a key coordination point for external stakeholders such as municipalities, utilities, grid operators, landowners, regulatory authorities, and external consultants
  • Support discussions and alignment with power and infrastructure providers to ensure timely availability of required capacities and services
  • Lead and coordinate permitting and licensing activities, including zoning, environmental approvals, and permits related to electrical and utility infrastructure

CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams across Development, Engineering, Finance, Legal and Operations to align resource strategies with project requirements
  • Coordinate technical inputs from subject‑matter experts and translate them into clear, decision‑ready information
  • Support collaboration with third‑party partners, vendors, and advisors throughout the project lifecycle

Budget & Commercial Support

  • Collaborate with Finance & Analysis teams to support the development and tracking of resource-related capital budgets
  • Provide commercial and strategic input to ensure resource decisions are cost-effective and aligned with long-term project viability.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in project development within data centers, construction, real estate development, or large‑scale infrastructure projects (e.g. energy, utilities, telecommunications, industrial developments) with multiple concurrent projects or workstreams
  • Solid understanding of land use, zoning, and permitting processes, ideally in a regulated or municipality‑driven environment
  • Working knowledge of electricity and electrical infrastructure, sufficient to engage with utilities, grid operators, and technical teams
  • Experience coordinating resource readiness across land, power, utilities, connectivity, and related infrastructure
  • Proactive and self‑directed working style, with the ability to make independent decisions within defined boundaries
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of cost, risk, and long‑term project viability
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience engaging authorities, utilities, and external partners
  • Proficiency in English and Finnish.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required

Why Join DayOne

  • Be part of a company scaling fast in a booming industry.
  • Work on an international stage with global leaders.
  • Shape your career in a culture that values curiosity, agility, and bold thinking.

DayOne is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
